Little Kids Rock is a national nonprofit that transforms children's lives by restoring and revitalizing music education in disadvantaged public schools. For the past decade, this organization has served more than 200,000 K-12 schoolchildren in 25 cities across the nation with free, instrumental music lessons rooted in the popular musical styles that kids enjoy. The program also places heavy emphasis on improvisation, composition, and getting an instrument into their hands asap - because you learn by playing!
